The electoral Commission of Barnaul annulled the results of voting on the three PEC

Election Commission of Barnaul (Altai Krai) annulled the results of the primary and early voting in the three sites of the municipality. On Thursday, September 14, RIA Novosti said the Commission.

“The Commission overturned the decisions of precinct electoral commissions No. 89, 203 and 253 on the voting results”, — said the Agency interlocutor.

The grounds for this decision were violations during the primary and early voting. The decision did not affect the final result of the elections, said the Agency.

Earlier, the Chairman of the “Yabloko” Emilia Kabanova said that the party would not recognize the results of elections in Barnaul. The politician also expressed the view that the head of the local election Committee and responsible for the election of representatives of the government should resign.

September 10, in the single voting day, residents of Barnaul were elected 40 deputies of the representative body: 20 — in single-seat constituencies and 20 from party lists. Following the results of campaign, “United Russia” won 49,29% of the vote. In second place — the Communist party (16,48%). “Fair Russia” was 13.19 percent, LDPR — 13.03 percent, Yabloko — 4.02 percent, “Patriots of Russia” — 1.19 percent.

On 8 September it was reported that the turnout for early voting in Barnaul amounted to 26 thousand people — more than 5 percent of the total number of residents of the municipality eligible to vote. Member of the Central electoral Commission Alexander Kinev explained that the statutory threshold of 1 percent, the intersection of which introduces a special procedure of calculation.
