The Governor of the Moscow region opened a perinatal center in city Shchyolkovo

The Governor of Moscow region Andrei Vorobyov and Minister of health of Russia Veronika Skvortsova took part in the opening ceremony of the regional center of motherhood and childhood in Queens. It is reported RIAMA Thursday, September 14.

“The time has come when we open high-tech perinatal centers in partnership with the health Ministry of Russia under the presidential program. What is happening today is long-awaited moment. And today we have the opportunity to provide the high-tech, high-quality care at birth and beyond: we can do a diagnosis, everything that accompanies the health of mom and baby,” — said Vorobyov.

In turn Skvortsova said equipping the centre with modern equipment. “This center is very high level, which has the advantage over the already open perinatal centres: a powerful centre for reproductive health, and created a team of top specialists for the development of IVF”, she said.

Just for the needs of the perinatal center was purchased about 24.5 thousand units of medical equipment, technological equipment and medical furniture. The cost of construction and commissioning of the centre amounted to more than 3 billion rubles, of which more than 2 billion — means of the regional budget, clarifies the issue.

The capacity of the perinatal center is a 150-hour beds, including the Department of pathology of pregnancy with 50 beds. The medical establishment has also adopted, obstetric and family offices. In addition, the center has clinical diagnostic laboratory and radiology Department.

On 12 September it became known that the perinatal center in Balashikha entered the top rating of VI annual National award “the Reproductive future of Russia”, implemented with the support of the Ministry of healthcare and Roszdravnadzor, Russian Federation.
