Russian tourists in Cuba were evacuated before the hurricane in the safe zone

HAVANA, Sep 9 — RIA Novosti. All Russian tourists, located on the Islands North of Cuba (Cayo Coco, Cayo Santa Maria), evacuated to a safe zone in the resort town of Varadero, announced the Embassy of the Russian Federation.

“(Travel company), Havanatur has informed us that all of our tourists were moved to safe areas in (the resort town) Varadero”, — said the press attache of the Russian Embassy in Cuba, the Hopes of Sergius.
