The Minister of defence of the Russian Federation General of the army Sergei Shoigu during the meeting with Deputy Chairman of the Central military Commission of China Xu Zelenom said that the sides will discuss further development of military-technical cooperation (MTC) between the two countries. According to the Minister, each year it expands and is “an important part of the whole complex of Russian-Chinese relations”.
“During today’s session… we will sum up our work over the past year and outline the priorities in the development of military-technical cooperation for the coming period. Configured for efficient and fruitful work”, — quotes Shoigu RIA Novosti.
The defense Minister stressed that the cooperation between the two countries contributes to the strengthening of security both in the region and around the world. First and foremost Russia and China cooperate to fight international terrorism.
