The Russian men’s team volleyball defeated team Germany in the final match of the European championship. About it the correspondent “Tapes.ru”.
The meeting was held on Sunday, 3 September, and ended with the victory of Russians with the score 3-2 (25:19, 20:25, 25:22, 17:25, 15:13). The Germans played in the final match of the continental championship for the first time in history, the Russian team had their fifth finals. The last time national volleyball players won gold medals of the tournament in 2013.
Bronze medals of the championship of Europe was won by the Serbs, five parties overcame the Belgians in the match for third place.
In the semi-finals Russians defeated the team of Belgium.
The European championship was held in Krakow, Poland from August 24 to September 3.
