The Federation Council proposes to send from Russia for “unwanted behavior”
The Federation Council is preparing a bill which provides for expulsion of foreign citizens from Russia for “undesirable behavior,” reports on Monday, the newspaper “Izvestia” with reference to informed sources in parliamentary circles.
According to sources, Russian citizens will face liability from administrative to criminal, but to foreigners — the expulsion from the country.
“The term will be applied in respect of individuals, mostly foreigners. “Undesirable behavior” can even lead to an expulsion from Russia. The term can be applied to Russian citizens and legal entities”, — said one of interlocutors of the newspaper.
It is expected that the document will be submitted to the Duma in early 2018 and will complement the existing FZ “On undesirable organizations”, adopted two years earlier.
