Revolution is not a matter of pride among Russians
The Communist party is going to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Oct for a week.
The Communist party plans to mark the 100th anniversary of the revolution of 1917 the mass festive events in Saint-Petersburg and Moscow. The party leadership considers the October revolution as the main event of the twentieth century for Russia and for the world. Citizens perceive it is not so clear, from surveys of the Institute of sociology. A source of pride for the revolution itself called 6% of the respondents.
Communist party leader Gennady Zyuganov intends to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the October revolution, the first week of November. He is convinced that “the October revolution was an event of epoch-making scale” because it “rescued the Russian statehood”. In this case, by the very fact of the Bolshevik seizure of power have a positive attitude 30% of respondents negatively — by 35%. The rest are difficult to answer.
Any revolution for the Russians not the main reason for national pride, it follows from the research of the Institute of sociology.

The Communist party will still celebrate the anniversary of the revolution as the event of the century. Festive demonstration is planned in all regional capitals. In Novosibirsk the centenary of the revolution hung banners for the festive date. The posters depicted Vladimir Lenin, revolutionary mood of the crowd and the words “Great October 100 years.” “We were not the customer of these banners”, — said the representative obkoma Vasily Volnukhin, assuming that the customer could make the mayoralty of Novosibirsk. “They are placed under social advertising.
