The Kremlin has identified possible U.S. sanctions as hostile manifestations

The Kremlin has not yet reviewed the list of Russian companies against which the possible introduction of new sanctions of the United States, but are closely monitoring the reports about it said press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov. A Kremlin spokesman stressed that he is ready to evaluate only those solutions that have been adopted and formalized. “In any case, the echoes of hostile manifestations, even of hostile manifestations against our country,” he added.

Earlier it became known that the U.S. state Department offered a list of organizations to which possible new sanctions. It includes the Federal security service (FSB), foreign intelligence Service (SVR), General Directorate of General headquarters (formerly the Main intelligence Directorate, GRU), told the New York Times. The list also includes 33 Russian defence companies. Among them are “Dry”, “Tupolev”, “MiG”, “Kalashnikov”, “Izhmash” and “Rosoboronexport”.

The official explanation of the new restrictive measures, according to the New York Times, the answer to Russia’s actions in Eastern Europe and interference in the American presidential election of 2016.
