The Chechnya Prosecutor’s office forgot to interview forced to go to games “Akhmad” students

The Chechen Prosecutor’s office checked the information contained in the materials of the “Caucasian knot” about the threats of expulsion of students for not attending the home matches of FC “Ahmad”, but found no violations, reported on Thursday, October 26, at the Prosecutor’s office of the Republic.

Thus, the Agency found that in the Chechen state University there was a meeting of representative of local authorities with heads and students of universities of Grozny, where they were threatened with lay-offs and deductions for the low level of patriotism and the low turnout at football games. “According to the Chechen state University, the meeting is not conducted”, — stated in the message of press-service.

During public Prosecutor’s check has also not been revealed cases of forcing students to attend football matches. This conclusion was based on the fact that none of the students was not addressed to law enforcement agencies on this fact.

On October 23 the “Caucasian knot” wrote that after a series of losses “Akhmad” the Chechen authorities have instructed the rectors of the Grozny universities to provide one hundred percent turnout in the upcoming games of the football club. Otherwise, teachers threatened with dismissal and student expulsion.

October 24, graduate of one of the Chechen universities told the radio station Moscow speaking that students are forced to go to sporting events, primarily football, to get an increased grant of 10 thousand roubles. Chechen authorities this information is not confirmed.
