The bear managed to take out the memory card from camera traps national Park
Himalayan bear in the national Park “Land of leopard” in Primorye tried to dismantle the automatic camera, pulled the memory card from the device, but it left a videotape of the “crime”, the press service of the Park.
On the Park’s website published a video which shows how the bear first poses for the camera, and then starts clenching her paws.
In the fall of 2017 during a scheduled inspection camera traps research Park employees found a broken camera. Her body was discovered, and the memory card was half removed. Workers initially suggested that the camera would deliberately ruin a poacher to hide evidence of his activities. But when viewing the latest video revealed that the camera noticed a black bear tried to tear it from the tree with paws and teeth.
During the download an error has occurred.
“This is a very curious animals. Every year we are faced with several cases of “attempt” bears on camera traps. They all end for the cameras,” — commented on the incident, the engineer-researcher “land of leopard” Viktor Storozhuk.
In January, the world wildlife Fund (WWF) of Russia took the national Park “Land of leopard” to seven of the most valuable natural sites of the country. The Park is inhabited by the Amur tiger and far Eastern leopard, listed in the Red book.
