New project “Welcome Mail.Ru” called simply and succinctly — “the lighthouse”. It was created in order to link those who need help with specific charity. It contains data on more than 130 charities with a solid reputation. Over four years of work of the project “Welcome Mail.Ru” we realized how important it is to give people the opportunity to navigate a difficult situation, because many don’t know where to go if someone got sick from the family. Of course, everyone knows that you need to go to the doctor, but in some cases something more is needed. And, unfortunately, in Russia there are very few ways available to the common man, and often it is unclear what to do in a given situation.
The consequence of this confusion, misunderstanding is quite a large number of fundraising on social networks, because it seems that if you now start collecting, it will help.

Charities that we work with (132 Fund from 31 regions of Russia) is a proven, honest and professional organization, each of them has accumulated experience in solving a specific task. They know the best physicians who are engaged in a particular issue, understand how to obtain assistance from the state, they learned to work with different problems and help.
If many people know that funds can seek advice and information, it would avoid a lot of situations where it was just lost time — the most valuable resource.
People often perceive that funds organizations that help someone else: funds often turn to people for volunteer help, for donations, and it seems that the work of the organization is just that. But we think if we told you about the charity organizations as experts who solve different problems and are willing to talk about how to solve them ordinary people, it can significantly affect the development of philanthropy in Russia. Funds will begin to be perceived as those of the organization to which you can refer for help and advice, and the relationship between people and the funds will be a dialogue.

For example, if the user selects “Stroke”, which, unfortunately, is now quite common in the Russian problem, he will see not only contacts Fund “ORBI” where to go for help. It will also see a telephone hotline for people whose loved ones suffered a stroke, where they will be able to answer questions on care, to help psychologically to cope with this situation and to properly support a loved one. That is, the service allows not only to apply to the Fund, and contains other information that you should know the person who asks for help.
