MOSCOW, 19 Jul — RIA Novosti. A soldier of the Israeli army in the Golan Noma entered into melee combat with several dozen Orthodox Jews in Jerusalem staged a protest, according to the Israeli publication Haaretz.
The newspaper says that the Jews-Orthodox Jews took to the streets after two students of the local yeshiva (religious school) was arrested for refusing to serve in the army. Noma Golan tried to regulate the movement of vehicles and to disperse the crowd as it immediately started insulting protesters, calling her a “slut” and a “shiksa” (rude expletive in Yiddish, refers to a woman of non-Jewish origin).
