MOSCOW, October 11. /TASS/. Residents of St. Petersburg, Kazan, Grozny, Novosibirsk and Moscow cultural institutions gave their cities the highest ratings. This is evidenced by the research of the state of cultural and educational environment in large and medium cities of Russia, which held the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation.
“Research has shown that 83% of residents in large and medium cities agree that their city has enough cultural institutions (theatres, cinemas, galleries, libraries, etc.). The proportion satisfied with the condition of the cultural environment in the city has increased in recent years. The highest appreciation of the cultural agencies of the city have given the residents of St. Petersburg, Kazan, Grozny, Novosibirsk and Moscow”, — stated in the results of the study. The share of those who completely or mostly agree that the city has enough cultural institutions grew by 6% in 2014.
Each of the nearly 40 cities where the study was conducted, were interviewed at least 600 people, representing a representative sample of the population.
