Russia evacuated more than a million people in connection with “mining”
MOSCOW, 10 Oct — RIA Novosti. Already over a million people evacuated in 170 cities of Russia after the start of mass anonymous message about “mining” buildings, told RIA Novosti on Tuesday a source in the emergency services.
Only for the last days in seven cities, including Moscow and St. Petersburg, after a call with a bomb threat 115 were evacuated about 79 thousand people.
“Since September 11, calls of “mining” of 2.46 thousands of objects with mass stay of people registered in 170 cities. Evacuated a total of over 1 million 40 thousand people”, — said the Agency interlocutor.
A wave of telephone terrorism began in Russia on 11 September and continues to this day.
In any case, the bomb threat was not confirmed.
The Director of FSB of Russia Alexander Bortnikov reported that false calls about a mining of objects in the Russian Federation carried out four citizens of Russia from abroad, they have accomplices on the territory of Russia. According to Bortnikov, the damage caused by false calls of “mining” of objects in Russia amounted to more than 300 million rubles.
