Ex-Governor of the Novosibirsk region plans to find work in the region

NOVOSIBIRSK, October 10. /TASS/. Vladimir Gorodetsky, who retired on Friday resigned from the post of Governor of the Novosibirsk region, hopes to continue working in the region and is waiting for proposals from the successor of Andrew Travnikova. He said this on Tuesday in the press center TASS in Novosibirsk.

“Is not specifically defined place than I do. I’d just like to be helpful. To work so many years in such a dynamic , so I will be sure to look for the application to be let not in such dynamics, but in responsibility. What will be solution – decide. We agreed with Andrey Aleksandrovich (Travnikova) that he was familiar with Affairs, then, perhaps, we will find the way. He said yesterday that it is ready to build on the experience. But I do know that I’m here, in Novosibirsk, ” – said Gorodetsky.

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday agreed on the resignation of the former Governor of the Novosibirsk region Vladimir Gorodetsky, who in July was 69 years. Gorodetsky became Governor in 2014 after the resignation of Vasily Yurchenko in connection with loss of trust of the Russian President, he is also 13 years he was mayor of Novosibirsk. The acting head of the region appointed 46-year-old Andrew herbalists. Prior to the current appointment, he was Deputy Governor of Vologda oblast, the Deputy Plenipotentiary of the RF President in the northwestern Federal district, and in 2016 he became the mayor of Vologda.
