In the Moscow region are heated practically all social facilities and a large number of apartment blocks. This was reported on the website of the regional government on Wednesday, 4 Oct.
“As of the morning of 4 October, the region is heated to 97 percent of objects of social sphere and 81 per cent of apartment buildings. Connecting to the heat of new objects takes place almost every hour,” — said the Deputy Chairman of the government of the Moscow region Dmitry Pestov.
He stressed that all the objects which have not yet included heating, are under control of the regional Ministry of housing and local government. “The work on the speedy flow of heat to all social institutions and apartment houses”, — said the Chairman.
On the eve of the Governor of Moscow region Andrei Vorobyov instructed the heads of municipalities to personally control heating in apartment buildings.
2 Oct Pestov said that on behalf of the head of the region, the municipal authorities in deciding on the beginning of the heating period “is not oriented to formal indicators and on the real needs of residents.”
