The average salary of a General practitioner in the outpatient clinics of the Department of health of Moscow reached 110 thousand rubles. On Thursday, September 28, Deputy mayor for social development Leonid Pechatnikov, reports RIA Novosti.
“This is comparable to the salary of a General practitioner in Western Europe. But for the money we are entitled to demand the attitude of the patient and the level of knowledge and skills that meet the status of “Moscow doctor”,” Pechatnikov said at a meeting with students of the First Moscow state medical University named after Sechenov.
The official explained that such a status to the Department of health of Moscow assigns both Metropolitan and regional physicians after a successful accreditation in the Federal methodological center. Accredited doctors rely on grants from 15 thousand to 20 thousand rubles per month.
According Mosgorstat, the average salary of doctors in the capital in 2017 is 90 thousand rubles. The highest income, according to statistics, the doctors get in the Chukotka Autonomous district — more than 140 thousand rubles, the lowest — in North Ossetia: a little more than 28 thousand rubles.
Earlier the Ministry has published a list of the highest paid professions in Russia. Sixth place with an average income of 200 thousand rubles was taken by profession of a dentist.
