American tiltrotor Osprey made a hard landing in Syria. About it reports Reuters.

According to an anonymous source of the Agency, the accident resulted in severe injuries to one soldier.

On 29 August, the tiltrotor Osprey US air force made an emergency landing at the airport in Oita Prefecture in Northwest Japan. Data on victims did not arrive.

The convertiplane V-22 Osprey combines the design features of aircraft and helicopters. They are equipped with two turboshaft engines, arranged in the pivoting nacelles on the wingtips. Machine take-off mass of more than 27 tons can reach a maximum speed of over 500 kilometers per hour. The tiltrotor in addition to the crew of four is able to carry 24 marine.
