Scientists found on the moon and Mars are ideal places for human settlement
MOSCOW, 27 Sep — RIA Novosti. Scientists from the universities of Padua and Bologna announced the discovery on the moon and Mars places that are best suited for human settlement, according to the official website of the Association of European astrophysicists Europlanet.
Experts analyzed models of the reliefs of celestial bodies and came to the conclusion that in the subsequent “lava tube” and caves on the moon and Mars are best suited for human life on these objects.
“Lava tubes” are the channels, caused by uneven cooling of the lava. The surface layers of lava cools faster and become solid, forming a solid crust, within which the liquid lava gradually disappearing, forming a tunnel. Experts say that the length of the tunnel can reach 65 kilometers.
