Coordinator of the movement “Left front” Sergei Udaltsov was detained on Saturday, September 23, during uncoordinated action “anti-capitalism” on Strastnoy Boulevard in Moscow, he will remain in the police until Monday. This is stated in the account of opposition on Twitter.

“Sergei Udaltsov is left up to the court (until Monday) in the Department of Tver”, — stated in the message published by his associates.

It is emphasized that the oppositionist was accused of violating article 20.2 of the administrative code. “Sergei Udaltsov, the Protocol does not agree, will challenge the arrest in court,” — said in a microblog.

Earlier that day it was reported about the detention of Udaltsov in Central Moscow before the event “anti-capitalism”. According to the politician, except it had arrested another five people. It happened on the way to the venue of the action. “At a time when I was detained, no banners, no flags were not, we were just sitting at a stoplight, wanted to cross the road with me were a few dozen people. Consider his detention illegal,” he told reporters.

13 Sep Udaltsov and his colleague Alexei Vorontsov was arrested for holding a rally near the state Duma. According to the wife of the coordinator of the “Left front”, Vorontsov spent picket with the requirement of the General Amnesty for the 100th anniversary of the October revolution, and Udaltsov “stood”. After prophylactic conversation were both released from the Department, not accounting for the Protocol.

8 Aug 40-year-old Udaltsov was released from penal colony No. 3 of the General regime, which spent 4.5 years for organizing mass riots on Bolotnaya square in 2012.
