The results of the elections may be canceled after inspection at several sites in North Ossetia, Mordovia and Kuban. This was stated by Deputy head of the Central election Commission of Russia Nikolay Bulaev, reports on Friday, September 15, RIA Novosti.
A joint group of representatives of the CEC of Russia and of deputies from all parliamentary parties was checking complaints about possible violations during the elections in North Ossetia, Mordovia and Kuban. “I think that the results of the work of the commissions will cancel the results of voting not one area,” said Bulaev.
In his opinion, the Commission worked very objectively, and explained that the cancellation of the results in specific areas is a responsibility of the local election commissions. “Therefore, such proposals can be formulated. A decision will be made or not is a question of territorial and regional election commissions” — he said.
The Deputy head of the CEC, added that hardly anyone doubts that there are grounds for this.
On 15 September it became known about the cancellation of the electoral Commission of the Krasnodar territory of the results of voting on elections to the regional Parliament in two polling stations.
Before that invalidated the results of the vote for two precinct election commissions in Saransk (Mordovia).
In the single voting day on September 10, elections were held in almost all regions of Russia, with the exception of Ingushetia, Magadan oblast and St. Petersburg. In 16 subjects voted for the governors in the six deputies of regional parliaments.
