Hiding from the “Irma” in the wine cellar billionaire has revealed the extent of destruction

British billionaire Richard Branson, founder of Virgin Group, has published in his Instagram video, which depicted the ruins of his luxury home on Necker island (British virgin Islands), destroyed by hurricane “Irma”.

“Most of the buildings and plants on the Necker destroyed or badly damaged. But the story of “Irma” in the British virgin Islands are not only about Necker — it’s about the tens of thousands of people who have lost their homes and livelihoods,” wrote Branson, attaching to post a link to a page on the website of the Virgin group, through which you can make a donation to benefit victims of the disaster.

In his Twitter, the billionaire has also published some pictures made after the hurricane passed Necker.

Earlier it was reported that Branson intends to wait “Irma” in the concrete wine cellar.

The storm hit the British virgin Islands on Wednesday evening, September 6. The greatest damage was caused to the island of Tortola.
