Mironov won the election of the head of Yaroslavl region

Temporarily the acting head of the Yaroslavl region Dmitry Mironov (“United Russia”) gained 79,32% of the votes in the elections of the head region. The data provided by the election Committee after processing of all protocols, reports RIA Novosti on Monday, September 11.

Mironov voted more than 274 thousand voters.

The Deputy of the Yaroslavl regional Duma Mikhail Paramonov (CPRF) gained 8.61% of the votes. His colleague, the representative of the party PARNAS Sergey Balabaev has received 5.88% of the voters. Next is district Deputy Andrew Vatlin (LDPR) from 2.91 percent and the temporarily not working inhabitant of Vologda Cyril Panko (“Communists of Russia”) is 1.23 percent.

September 10, in the single voting day, residents of the Yaroslavl region was chosen Governor for the first time in 14 years. Also in the region have passed elections of deputies of the municipality.

In the summer of 2016, Russian President Vladimir Putin dismissed the Yaroslavl Governor Sergey Yastrebov, who resigned after four years of leadership in the region. The acting head of the region was appointed Dmitry Mironov, who before held the post of Deputy interior Minister.
