WASHINGTON, 7 Sep — RIA Novosti. The U.S. hopes that the exchange of diplomatic measures with Russia will cease, told reporters, state Department spokesman Heather Nauert.
“We want to improve our relationship, don’t want an exchange of diplomatic actions on the principle of “an eye for an eye”, — said Nauert reporters at a briefing.
The US government on August 31 called on Russia to cease diplomatic operations in the Consulate building in San Francisco, and also in the buildings of the trade mission in Washington and the Department trade mission in new York. Russian diplomats have complied with this requirement by 2 September. In Moscow called these actions of Washington “raider capture” of the Russian diplomatic property. Moscow intends to address in court in connection with the actions of the American side.
