Vice President and press Secretary of “Rosneft” Mikhail Leontyev said that information about the “baskets with sausage”, which allegedly are a traditional gift from the President of “Rosneft” Igor Sechin has nothing to do with the former Minister, the Minister of economic development of Russia Alexei Ulyukayev.
“No relation to the content of the case the baskets are not like many other points, as read out by the Prosecutor in the process, which is quite strange, and as far as I know, is unprecedented”, — quotes the radio station “Moscow speaking” the words of Leontiev.
Previously, the newspaper “Vedomosti” published a photo of the basket with the sausage brand “From Ivanovich”, which the newspaper’s sources called a traditional gift from the head of “Rosneft”. It is noted that Sechin actively was fond of hunting, and the trophies start on the sausage.
Earlier, Sechin said that the speaker had committed a crime when he demanded the reward, independently came for him and took it.
The former Minister was arrested in November 2016 on charges of receiving a bribe in the amount of $2 million for a positive evaluation, which allowed Rosneft to conclude a deal to buy the government’s stake in Bashneft.
