An earthquake with magnitude of 8.0 occurred in Mexico

An earthquake with magnitude of 8.0 occurred off the Pacific coast of Mexico, according to USGS.

The epicenter was located 96 kilometers South-West of the city Pijijiapan, his focus lies at a depth of 35 kilometers. The tremors were recorded at 23:49 (07:49 MSK).

About victims and destructions are not reported. Mexican rescue service has reported that this earthquake was the strongest since 1985 that killed thousands of people.
