Several British soldiers who, presumably, were members of the banned neo-Nazi group “National action” has been arrested on suspicion of preparation of terrorist acts. On Tuesday, September 5, reports The Telegraph.
According to the newspaper, the police together with the counter-terrorism units from the West Midlands, Wales and East Midlands was taken into custody four men aged 22 to 32 years. How many of them are military, not specified. Currently they are all in the police station in the West Midlands.
The UK Ministry of defence has confirmed the fact of arrest of several soldiers in accordance with the law on the fight against terrorism.
In the framework of the special operation were also searched. As emphasized in police, all actions were carefully planned. “Public safety was not” — said the Agency.
