According to the information received, the incident occurred in one of the branches of Bank Commonwealth in the area of Springvale in the East of the city. The doctors brought 21 people to the hospital. Five of the victims suffered serious burns, the remaining 16 people were poisoned by carbon monoxide.
Police launched an investigation, the district in which the fire occurred, remained cordoned off.
