The leader of the party “Northern League” Matteo Salvini in the second half of next week will visit Moscow where will meet with representatives of the government and the state Duma. This well-known politician said the radio station Radio Padania.
“Next week I will return to Moscow,” — said Salvini, who has repeatedly visited Russia, and last visited the Russian capital in December last year.
According to him, currently the programme of the visit are still to be agreed. However, in addition to meetings with representatives of the authorities, aimed at strengthening bilateral contacts, including with the party “United Russia”, leader of “Northern League” plans to meet with residents in Moscow with Italian citizens, to discuss with them the upcoming 4 December referendum on constitutional reform, and urge them to vote against it.
Together with Salvini, the Russian Federation will visit the former Deputy of the national Parliament from the “Northern League” Claudio D’amico, and the President of the cultural Association Lombardy-Russia Gianluca Savoini.
