Kyiv has reacted to the burning of the flag of Ukraine on the independence March in Warsaw. The Ukrainian authorities demanded explanations of Poland, sharply condemned the incident. About it reports “UKRINFORM” with reference to the attorney of the Embassy of Ukraine in Poland Vasily Zvarych.
He called the incident “shameful actions” insulting the characters “sovereign, and the more friendly neighbouring state, which is Ukraine”.
Also Zvarych called the incident an act of vandalism and demanded to punish the perpetrators. It is also reported that the Embassy of Ukraine is preparing an official note to the Polish foreign Ministry.
Earlier it was reported that about one hundred thousand people participated in a March of nationalists in Warsaw. People need to attach the territory of Western Ukraine and Lithuania Vilnius Poland. The nationalists burned Ukrainian flags on the square at the National stadium.
