The explosion in a residential building in Ivanovo
The epicenter of the explosion in a residential building in Ivanovo was a gas boiler in the apartment on the first floor. On Sunday, November 6, TASS said acting head of the Department of interaction with mass media of Investigatory Committee of Russia Svetlana Petrenko.
“The investigators found the apartment where the epicenter of explosion of household gas. In the basic version, the epicenter of the explosion was the apartment on the first floor, which was discovered a gas boiler with injuries and traces of thermal influence on the floor,” she said.
Explosion of household gas in the two-storey 12-apartment house took place in the early morning of 6 November, the result was hit by two apartments and the roof. Six people were killed and another eight were injured.
Upon collapse of the house resulted in the death of people criminal case under article “performance of works or rendering services not meeting safety requirements”.
As a priority versions of what happened, investigators are considering the leakage of household gas. At the same time in the Moscow interior Ministry believed that the culprit could be leading asocial way of life of a man who lived on the first floor in the third entryway. It was at his apartment, according to neighbors, the explosion occurred.
