The health Department of Ekaterinburg has denied the announcement of the HIV epidemic in the city, reports TASS.

“In Ekaterinburg officially generalized stage of HIV infection. It was announced yesterday or the day before, it was a long time ago. The representative office noted that official statements about the beginning of the epidemic it did not. “I don’t know why the media is writing about the epidemic, most likely, journalists impose this situation on a flu and it seems that there was something incredible, although there is nothing supernatural,” — said Savinov.

Girls, heroin addicts, almost all were HIV-positive, in addition, almost all of them were prostitutes,” he said. Roizman also noted that a similar situation with the incidence of HIV observed in all of Russia.
