The acting head of Dagestan Vladimir Vasilyev dismissed the Republic’s government and administration and the head of government of the region. It is reported TASS with reference to press-service of administration of head and government of the region.
Earlier, on 3 October, President Vladimir Putin named Deputy speaker and head of the faction “United Russia” in the State Duma Vladimir Vasiliev “a political heavyweight” in his appointment of the acting head of Dagestan.
“Over the years you have certainly become that person, which we have called a political heavyweight, you’re a politician at the Federal level, and, in my opinion, such a person need today is the Republic,” the President said at the meeting with Vasilyev.
The former head of the Republic Ramazan Abdulatipov announced his retirement on September 28. Then he noted that his resignation implies a “total”greening” frames.”
September 30, RIA Novosti source in the presidential administration said that a series of early resignations of the heads of Russian regions will be completed by October 10. He said that all will be suspended up to 11 governors.
