The state Duma will discuss the issue of prayers before and after meetings of the working groups
MOSCOW, October 3 — RIA Novosti. The head of the Duma Committee for the control and regulation Olga Savastianova said that he will discuss with the Committee possible changes to the regulations of the state Duma concerning prayers at the beginning and at the end of the meeting the working groups.
Earlier in the state Duma took place the meeting of the Interfactional group of deputies on the protection of Christian values, at the beginning and at the end of which the participants read in unison a prayer. This ritual occurs during each meeting of this group.
“We have in the regulations, such standards are not prescribed, but not prescribed, because such issues never arose. But this, I believe, should not be. So here is a subject for reflection,” said Sevastyanova RIA Novosti.
She said that he would discuss the situation with members of the Committee to understand, “is there a subject for discussion”.
