Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov commented on the possibility of dismissal of Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich on the issues of transport topics after the criticism of the head of state because of the situation with “VIM-Avia”. His words leads RIA Novosti on Thursday, September 28.
“This is the second time. Primary specific task. It should be solved”, — said the representative of the Kremlin, responding to a question.
On the eve of Vladimir Putin criticized Arkady Dvorkovich, saying that he has paid insufficient attention to the transport industry, which oversees. He instructed him to submit proposals to resolve the situation. Disapproval of the President has caused and the work of the Minister of transport Maxim Sokolov. The head of state told him about incomplete official compliance due to the crisis situation around the airline.
The situation with the flight “VIM-Avia” has escalated this weekend. Monday, September 25, the company admitted that it had no funds to continue the work and it ceases to perform Charter flights. Regular flights are still ongoing. The issue with the transportation of passengers “VIM-Avia”, is under control of Rosaviation and Ministry of transport.
On 22 June it was reported that the number of travelers affected due to the cancellation of Charter flights of airline “Vim-Avia”, exceeded 30 thousand people.
