A few Russian diplomats who lived in rented apartments with their families in Mexico city, were left homeless because of the earthquake that occurred on Tuesday, September 19. About it reports “RIA Novosti” with reference to Minister-counselor of the Russian Embassy in Mexico city Eugene Neshumova.
According to him, immediately after the earthquake, the rescue services of the Mexican town evacuated diplomats, none of them or their family members were not injured, said the source.
Some employees of the Russian Embassy has provided temporary housing, because the buildings in which they had lived took heavy damage.
“Now the Embassy places them on a temporary basis at the existing premises, to the moment that will be carried out restoration work, or will be found new housing,” — said Neshumov.
