A video in which a helicopter fires at civilian vehicles allegedly during exercises “West-2017”, the editor of news portal 66.ru sent by an anonymous reader. This was told to “Tape.ru” production editor Ian Gravlin Tuesday, September 19.
“We live sent in the form “Report the news” on the website along with the information contained in the material. That’s all there is. There are other videos, not just ours. I know who sent the video. But if among the victims were journalists, as stated in the text, it became known yesterday or the day before”, — he explained.
According to Gravina, the origin of the video it is not known.
Earlier on Tuesday a press-service of Western military district reported that the recording spread on the Internet was not made for the exercises “West-2017”, and at another time, and then no one was hurt.
Before that, the media with the submission portal 66.ru the information appeared that the Russian helicopter Ka-52, allegedly involved in the exercises “West-2017”, fired on a crowd of spectators, resulting in two people were taken to hospital with serious injuries. It was explained that it happened on the ground “Luga” near St. Petersburg on 17 or 18 September.
