Sanctions will not be lifted with Russia even after the Minsk agreement will be fulfilled. This was stated by the special envoy of the US state Department for the settlement of the Ukrainian Kurt Volker, according to “112 Ukraine”.
According to him, the restrictions prevent the transfer of Crimea to Russia. “Even if Russia will fulfill it [the Minsk agreement], if we see the restoration of Ukrainian sovereignty over the Donbas, no matter through what kind of mechanism we create. Sanctions imposed over Crimea remain,” — said Walker.
