Moscow. September 14. INTERFAX.RU editor — in-Chief of the German magazine Focus has apologized in connection with incorrect statements of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin, said the press-attache of the Russian Embassy in Germany Denis Mikerin.
“Today the Embassy called the chief editor of the magazine FOCUS Magazin Robert Schneider. He personally expressed regret in connection with certain statements in the journal to the President of the Russian Federation, assuring that the wording in no way wanted to offend or insult the Russian head of state,” wrote Mikerin on Facebook.

“However, agreeing with our arguments, he acknowledged the exceptional incorrectness of the selected formulations and apologized, including to all readers who are rightly angered by the offensive passage,” — said the press attache of the Russian Embassy.
