The European Union refused to recognize the election of the Governor of the Crimea, which took place on September 10 in Single voting day in Russia. The EU statement on this occasion said that the Union does not recognize the Russian.
It is noted that the decision of the Union demonstrates the perseverance of its members to support the territorial integrity of Ukraine. Whoever was elected in the Crimea, the EU does not recognize it as representative of the region.
10 September in the framework of Russian Single day of voting in Sevastopol for the first time by public voting has chosen the head of the city. Also in some areas of the Crimea took place the election to the Parliament of the Republic.
