Rock slide, which killed one worker, occurred on a mountain mine in the Komi Republic. On Thursday, September 14, Interfax reported a source in operational staff on elimination of consequences of state of emergency.
It is clarified that nefashot “Yareganeft” is in Ukhta. In result the incident has killed one miner, he was raised to the surface without signs of life.
It is known that the mine is owned by “LUKOIL”. This information was confirmed in its press-service, noting that the causes of the incident are being investigated.
Earlier, on 4 August, at the Mir mine in Yakutia, owned by the company “ALROSA”, there was a breakthrough of water. In the first hours after the incident were evacuated workers from 142 151. The next day we managed to rescue another miner, Alisher Mirzaev, stuck at a depth of 410 meters. Eight people could not find. The alleged cause of the disaster could be a technological failure in a storage tank of water.
