During a summer vacation in Russia killed more than 200 children
MOSCOW, September 4. /TASS/. More than 200 children died during summer vacation in Russia, and 632 of the child was hurt. This was reported in the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation following the meeting of the all-Russian children’s centre “Eaglet” in the Krasnodar region, chaired by the Ombudsman under the RF President on the rights of the child of Anna Kuznetsova.
“Only for three summer months as a result of drowning killed 215 minor, electric shock, in many cases, not compatible with life, got 19 children, as a result of accidents in abandoned buildings, and other objects injured 15 children. According to preliminary data of the investigative bodies of the Investigative Committee, during the summer holidays were injured in accidents 632 a child were without parental supervision for the same period of last year these children had 588”, — the press service quoted the senior assistant of Chairman SK the Russian Federation Igor Komissarov.
According to him, every tragic case demonstrates shortcomings in preventive work with minors, and the lack of supervision by parents and other adults.
In this regard, children’s leisure, educational and conventional, should be organized with the implementation of all appropriate safety rules.
