Central Russia cyclone is coming with freezing rain
Drivers are advised to observe the speed limit, and if possible to take public transport.
BRYANSK, November 25 — RIA Novosti. Emergencies Ministry warns residents of the Kostroma, Belgorod, Bryansk, Smolensk, Tver, Yaroslavl regions and other regions of Central Russia about the possibility of a significant deterioration in road conditions due to freezing rain, snow and ice.
“According PKU Center “Antistikhiya” of EMERCOM of Russia in the period from 26 November to 27 November 2016 on the territory of Yaroslavl region and border regions of the Central Federal district (Tver, Ivanovo, Moscow region), the projected deterioration of the meteorological situation is expected to heavy precipitation in the form of snow, sleet, rain, ice phenomena,” according to the MOE region.
Such warnings are also issued rescuers in Kostroma, Belgorod and Bryansk regions, where in the coming weekend is expected sleet and sometimes freezing rain. Smolensk rescuers warn of heavy snowfall. Night temperature in these regions is projected to -6 degrees during the day above zero in these conditions is unfavorable road conditions.
