The office of the President of Russia will take all the necessary personnel decisions in accordance with the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation to give the opportunity to a research-only those authorities that were elected corresponding members of the Russian Academy of Sciences, told RIA Novosti press-Secretary Manager Elena Krylova.

“We will take all the necessary personnel decisions in accordance with the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation”, — she said, commenting on the words of the head of state Vladimir Putin.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said Thursday that at the end of last year asked government representatives, including senior officials, to refrain from participating in the elections to the Russian Academy of Sciences. The President also promised the employees of the President Administration, Ministry of education, Ministry of internal Affairs and the FSB, elected to the Russian Academy of Sciences, provide the opportunity to engage in research-only instead of working in government.
As follows from the materials of the RAS, in the past the end of October the election of new members of the Academy of Sciences in its composition, in particular, elected member of the Federation Council Arnold Tulokhonov (he became an academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences), Deputy Minister of internal Affairs — head of investigation Department Alexander Savenkov, head of the Department of registration and archival funds of FSB of the Russian Federation Vasily Khristoforov, Deputy Director on science of the Russian Fund of fundamental research Igor Sheremet (corresponding members of RAS).
