“We should make Russia a very flexible and highly competitive. Flexible terms of forms and methods of management. Flexible from the point of view of the economy. Looking to the future from the point of view of introduction of new technologies. Evaluation of these possibilities and their applications”, — said the Putin at the final plenary session of the annual meeting of the international discussion club “Valdai”, answering the question how he sees the mission of the winner of the presidential election in 2018.
He added that the state “should strengthen the defenses, to improve its political system, so it too was like a living organism and was developed in accordance with the way the whole world is developing”.
The Russian presidential election to be held on 18 March 2018. In accordance with the Constitution, the President is elected by direct universal secret ballot for a term of six years.
