Canadian Prime Minister broke into tears during a speech about the death of the main rocker country
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau didn’t hold back tears during a speech about the death of rock musician Gordon downie. The recording policy is published on YouTube.
“Proud was my friend, he was a friend to all of us. Our buddy Proud,” said Trudeau.
“Our country has become less proud without Downey. I thought I would be able to hold back, but this is unbearable,” admitted the Prime Minister.
Gordon Edgar downie, one of the most famous rockers of Canada and frontman of The Tragically Hip, died on October 17 at the age of 53 years, wrote the Guardian. Cause of death was brain cancer, which was fought by 2016.
In the discography The Tragically Hip 14 albums. Downey was also involved in a solo career and released six albums.
