In Khabarovsk Krai the employee of the defensive enterprise was condemned for treason
KHABAROVSK, 31 Dec — RIA Novosti. Residents of Khabarovsk territory, who worked on one of the defense enterprises, was sentenced to 4.5 years in a penal colony for treason, have informed in UFSB across the region.
The investigation found that 26-the summer employee military-industrial complex stole information containing state secrets, and sold them to a foreign citizen. The man was detained by field investigators UFSB and placed into custody.
Criminal case under article “high treason in the form of espionage” was investigated by the investigative Department of the FSB.
“He was sentenced to deprivation of liberty for a term of 4.5 years in a penal colony and one year of restriction of freedom after release”, — stated in the message.
It is noted that at trial, the defendant fully admitted his guilt, repented of his actions, which took into account at sentencing.
