The investigators Omsk criminal case against officials of the correctional comprehensive boarding school № 5 in Omsk, which beat the child. The suspects are accused of committing a crime under article 293 of the criminal code of Russian Federation (“Negligence”), according to the website of the regional Department of the Investigative Committee.
According to investigators, 23 October the boy was beaten because of a broken headphone. According to 13-year-old victim, it all started as a game, but then the teenagers got angry, began deliberately to cause pain, to inflict blows. The record of violence has hit the net. The footage shows how the child lying on a few teenagers come and beat him with feet and hands. After the incident, the assailants, 16 and 17, ran away from boarding school, but after a few hours was found by police and taken to school. The victim was taken to hospital with hand injuries.
“The investigation also questioned the teacher, who came into the room immediately after the conflict, but did not reveal the incident and, according to investigators, did not take appropriate response measures”, — stated in the message.
In Department intend to clarify the circumstances regarding leisure time and adequate control over the behavior of the pupils of the boarding school. The investigation of the case is under review in the Central office of the Investigative Committee.
