Moscow. 31 Oct. INTERFAX.RU — Representatives of the American social networks are ready to provide the US Congress with new information about alleged related to the elections of 2016 activities of Russia, reports on Tuesday Agency Associated Press.

So, Facebook is going to tell the legal Committee of the U.S. Senate that presumably related to Russia the group has put more than 80 million advertising messages during and after the elections. The potential audience of these posts are estimated 126 million users and 29 million people they appear directly in news feed.

Twitter is preparing to announce that has identified and blocked 2,75 thousand accounts, which, according to the company intentionally promoted the Pro-Russian views during the American elections.

This is about 14 times more than the social network have stated before, said the source Agency. From these accounts, says the Associated Press, in the period from September to November last year, was placed 1,4 million tweets related to the election.

Google on 30 October announced that it has identified two accounts, possibly linked to Russia, which spent $4.7 million on advertising during the election of the President of the United States. The company also found 18 Youtube-channel, allegedly supported by Russia. They placed more than 1 thousand videos with total duration of 43 hours. In the period from June 2015 to November 2016, they received nearly 309 thousand hits in the United States.

Representatives of Facebook, Twitter and Google as part of an investigation of a possible Russian intervention in elections in the United States will speak at three hearings which will be held on 31 October and 1 November.
