MOSCOW, 29 Sep — RIA Novosti. Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated workers and veterans of road and urban passenger transport on their professional holiday, the corresponding telegram posted on the Kremlin website.
“Today the holiday is celebrated by representatives of one of the most important and demanded professions. Because the motor complex is considered a strategically important sector of the national economy, plays a huge role in strengthening the industrial and technological potential of the country in the development of interregional and international relations”, — stated in the message.
The President also noted that a reliable, uninterrupted operation of transport depends largely on the quality of people’s lives.
